    October 21, 2016, 9:45 am & 11:10 am - Laurie Auditorium at Trinity University
    Akiko Fujimoto, conductor

Take your band, orchestra or mariachi students on a free-admission field trip to experience the Symphony’s first-ever performances specifically devoted to a middle school audience. Join us at Trinity University’s Laurie Auditorium as we delve into the complexities of a beloved work of 20th century music, Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria von Weber. TEKS-aligned content presented will touch on the foundations of music learning and the relevance of orchestral music to history, culture and the world.
