Job Title: General Manager
Department: Concert Production

Shift/Hours/Days: Monday-Friday; some nights and weekends
Reports to: Executive Director
Supervises: Manager of Artistic Planning, Personnel Manager, Stage & Operations Manager, Associate Librarian
Compensation: Commensurate with Experience
Status: Exempt 

 The San Antonio Symphony invites applications for the General Manager position. Reporting to the Executive Director, this is a full time exempt position beginning immediately. 

Job Summary: The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of managing the artistic resources of the San Antonio Symphony in order to achieve the orchestra’s mission. To that end, the General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Symphony Operation’s budget and for the planning and executing of all orchestra services. 

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Arts Administration or related field
Experience:
A minimum of five years-experience working in orchestras or music related fields
Skills: 
Excellent communication and motivational skills

Job Title: Director of Finance
Department: Accounting
Date: June 8, 2018
Shift/Hours/Days: Monday-Friday; some nights and weekends
Reports To: Executive Director
Supervises: Staff Accountant
Compensation: Commensurate with Experience
Status: Exempt

The San Antonio Symphony invites applications for the Director of Finance position. Reporting to the Executive Director, this is a full time exempt position beginning immediately. 

Job Summary: The Director of Finance is responsible for the business and financial operations of the organization, including financial planning, control, and reporting. The Director of Finance is also responsible for the preparation of the annual operating budget and long-range plan financial projections, monthly financial statements, banking relations, information systems management, facilities operations, and the administration of payroll, employee benefits, and personnel policies 

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience in the performing arts.
Experience: At least 3 years relevant experience in marketing, patron services, arts administration, events planning/coordination, and/or a similar field.

Skills: Experience working within multicultural environments.
