Attending schools and groups are encouraged to participate in the QWILL Language Arts program with which we have partnered for this production to provide a more in-depth, cross-curricular experience: The QWILL (Quality Writing Inspires Lifelong Learning) Language Arts curriculum is a ground-breaking resource for teaching communication skills, critical thinking, cooperative learning, character development, media literacy, and a host of SEL and life skills – in a way that is innovative, cross-curricular, arts-infused, TEKS-aligned, distance-learning friendly, founded in classic literature, and engaging for both the teacher and the student. Our directly-related and culminating Young People’s Concert experience seeks to provide students with a deeper, richer, multi-sensory experience that touches on a range of art forms while aligning directly to the material detailed in the QWILL resource.
