(San Antonio, TX) The San Antonio Symphony presents the incredible vocals of Broadway’s Capathia Jenkins in From Gospel to Soul to Broadway, January 20-21, 2017 at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. Capathia Jenkins is known for her show-stopping numbers in the musicals Newsies, Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me and the 2000 off-Broadway revival of Godspell. Ms. Jenkins brings power and soul to the stage, taking the audience on a journey from the electrifying depths of Rhythm and Blues to Gospel to a love affair with classic Broadway songs.

San Antonio (March 13, 2017) – The San Antonio Symphony is thrilled to announce its 2017-2018 Symphony season! Performance highlights include a September special featuring internationally renowned pianist Emanuel Ax; a diverse Tricentennial Festival lineup; a tribute to Leonard Bernstein honoring his 100th birthday; a Classics Series with 32 sensational performances; and 16 dazzling concerts in the H-E-B POPS Series at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.

(San Antonio, TX) The San Antonio Symphony announces that Former Vice President of Concert Production, Karina Bharne has been named Vice President and General Manager. Bharne joined the San Antonio Symphony in October of 2011 serving as Director of Orchestra Personnel, and shares dedication to the future success of the Symphony.
