Las Américas Festival presented by John L. Santikos Foundation


The Symphony’s sixth winter festival, Las Américas, will be led by Music Director Sebastian Lang-Lessing, who serves as the festival’s curator. The city-wide festival, which is also part of our Valero Classic Series, will highlight vibrant and musically diverse works of composers from North and South America and will includes works from George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein and many more, plus a world-premiere commissioned work by Jeffrey Mumford.
